Everyone’s life and times is a story to be told.

Whenever we reminisce, tell a joke, give an instruction, or relay thoughts and feelings that trouble or enthrall us, we are sharing a narrative about our own story.

Introducing the upcoming book: On Motivations: The Vocabulary for the Stories of our Lives – Symbolized in the Michael Motivation Cards™, coming Summer 2019. It recasts a widely diverse and  descriptive narrative about human nature – the Michael Teachings – into a method for  writing our life scripts and deciphering deeper level story lines about human nature itself.  It serves to as a sage the Universe, its cosmology potential grand design, with commentary about the qualities and path of personal spirit we call the Soul. But embedded within it lies foundation language concepts that can clarify aspects of life and living. The book frames this terminology to help explain us to ourselves and fund more profoundly knowledge about our own character, and how we act in the play of life. Every important concept have been matched with graphic symbolism on a tactile learning accessory: The Michael Motivation Cards™. (already in print)

Our life narratives originate in ideas we’ve adopted and expressed in the language we’ve learned. Each is ranked with the emotional significance we’ve attached to it from the interplay of key events we’ve experienced. They are first recorded in our minds as our ‘self-talk’.  And those inner monologues are as clear, vague, abstruse, or misunderstood based upon the quality and precision of the terminology we employ. Our narratives can be thin or thick. If a narratives is thin, it tends to be superficial, overgeneralized, or ill-defined. but a thick narrative requires foundation. It is substantial with evidence or logical propositions, specific examples. and well delineated definitions and applications. Generally the thicker the narrative, the more it has been thought-out, awareness of the implications of those ideas measured and considered, and word choice become more precisely selected for nuance and specificity. Everyone have some areas of thick narratives, often relating to their profession or valued interests. Yet, it is my experience that most human beings today are an amalgam of generally un-evaluated thin narratives, that have been adopted through the process of continued programmed exposure (school, advertising, media) or group association (family, friends, racial group, religion, or political faction.) It is time we educate ourselves and begin speaking with greater effectiveness.

In the text will be an exploratory narratives about my story having discerned each of these archetypal concepts for myself. Emphasizing their use for constructing clearer and thicker, more meaningful narratives about ourselves and others. But also, provide the foundation to author a Story of your own future, but clarify your vision (story) about a future for humanity together. In this book, I utilize these terms repeatedly establishing definitions, connotations, related concepts, but all of them leading to my formulation of what I envision for our species: the evolutionary emergence of the Humane Being.
